STATION 1. Jesus is condemned to death. We adore you, O Christ, and praise you - Because by Your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world. MEDITATION: Jesus, scourged and crowned with thorns, is condemned by Pilate to die on the cross. Through her heart His sorrow sharing, All His bitter anguish bearing, Now at length the sword has passed. <start>  <next station>
