STATION 5. Simon helps Jesus carry His cross. We adore you, O Christ, and praise you - Because by Your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world. MEDITATION: Jesus grows weaker. Fearing that Jesus would not last to die on the Cross, the guards order Simon, the Cyrenean, to help carry the Cross. Can the human heart refrain From partaking in her pain, In that Mother's pain untold? <previous station>  <next station>
