STATION 7. Jesus falls
the second time.
We adore you, O Christ,
and praise you -
Because by Your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world.
MEDITATION: In the second
temptation on the mount, satan offers Jesus the world. Jesus
answers: "You shall not tempt the Lord, your God."
Falling again on the road to Calvary, Jesus rises and continues
on His own.
For the sins of His
own nation,
Saw Him hang in desolation,
Till His spirit forth He sent.
