STATION 11. Jesus is nailed
to the cross.
We adore you, O Christ,
and praise you -
Because by Your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world.
MEDITATION: In pain and
agony, Jesus mounts the pulpit of the Cross for a final sermon.
The curious congregation of theives, guards, and on-lookers here
the words: "Forgive them, for they know not what they do."
Let me share with thee
His pain,
Who for all my sins was slain,
Who for me in torments died.
