We adore you, O Christ,
and praise you -
Because by Your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world.
MEDITATION: His mother
holds Him. Does she remember Bethlehem and the warm fresh breaths
of the baby Jesus? He has given His Body and Blood to save the
sinful people.
By the cross with thee
to stay;
There with thee to weep and pray
Is all I ask of thee to give.
